The Ekow1 Platform App is a SaaS solution designed to simplify vendor discovery and improve decision-making for businesses. Using AI-driven insights, the platform helps organizations refine and understand their sourcing needs, allocate resources across specific classifications (such as, Woman Owned businesses) or NAICs codes. With intelligent tools for selecting the right suppliers and guiding smart financial decisions, the platform enables businesses to plan budgets with precision and confidently achieve their goals.
I joined the project as the lead developer after the design and planning phases. I was tasked with building and delivering the MVP within a tight six-week timeline. Working alongside a phenomenal UI/UX designer and a senior solutions architect, I was able to drive the development process efficiently and ensure alignment with the project’s vision. Due to newly requested features, I was granted a two-week extension, allowing me to further enhance the platform and deliver a robust, feature-rich product.

Aside from the tight deadline, one of the main challenges I faced during this project was developing and optimizing the AI-driven vendor matching and budget planning module. I needed to ensure that the tools delivered accurate and actionable insights while maintaining performance, scalability and usability.
While working on this project, I was able to deepen my expertise in integrating AI technologies into SaaS applications to address real-world business challenges. I also gained valuable experience in designing and developing admin-focused tools for configuration and debugging, ensuring the platform could be easily managed and tailored to meet evolving user needs.
